Our pigs come from Childhay Manor Organics. The breeds are carefully chosen for the best flavour – for example, Childhay Manor Organics' pork is from Tristar sows and Duroc boars, selected for their leanness, taste and marbling which give a fantastic roast with great crackling. Childhay, like us, strive to ensure the very highest standards of care creating a stress free life, which helps develop superb flavour and texture in every mouthful.

The pigs enjoy a free range lifestyle on the Salisbury Plains and can root and mess around to their heart's content. They live on grass paddocks in groups of 40 with cosy, straw filled kennels. In summer, they have access to water sprinklers which they use to create mud baths to keep themselves cool. Like all our animals, they eat only good quality GM free organic food.
