Our customers are prepared to pay for only the best quality meat. It has to be tasty, tender and lean.

Our butchery is run by an extremely skilled butcher with a background in gastronomy and offers a wonderful selection of our own beef, pork, lamb and chickens.

Since all finished stock are marketed fresh through our butchery, livestock numbers are tailored to this demand. Therefore the balance between livestock species reflects the requirements of you, the local population.

Our aim is simply to produce livestock of the finest eating quality by the highest standards of animal welfare. Every aspect of their management works towards this goal and is based on the organic principles of low stocking densities and a high foraging element on clean ground i.e. high health status.

We carry healthy livestock, which are extremely fertile and require no supplementary minerals nor do they need worming. The inclusion of herbs in the leys helps to maintain their health

They are finished off surplus vegetables and own grown protein, whether that be supplementing the grazing or in-wintered forage.

Great care is taken to ensure that whatever we do, we have the end product in mind. Breed, sex, age at finish, forage and protein source, fat levels, stress levels, length of hang are all aspects of production that receive our greatest attention.
