George (the farmer) and his family live in the farmhouse. His wife Kate grew up in Lymington and has been working on the farm since she was 16, helping out with haymaking, lambing and shearing. She is now an ENT consultant surgeon based at Poole General Hospital..

Their children are Vita (16), has a strong interest in studying medicine. William (14) has always been interested in livestock breeding and rearing and Henry (12), well who knows! They bike to school every day and are all passionate about dingy sailing, climbing and family adventures.

Bash (9, Border Collie,) is the sheepdog and Otis (2, Irish Terrier) is more of a family pet than a farm dog, though he does try to help whenever possible!

Working on the farm since 2006 are Betty and Mariusz, and their daughter Kinga (10), who is a competitive dancer. They live in the first cottage on the right as you come into the farm, and they are the reason why the place looks so spic and span, both inside and out! They inherited Dart (14, retired Border Collie), from George’s late mother.

Also on the farm – through the yard on the right, are Fanny and Nick, and their children Dirk (9) and Jonny (7). Fanny runs the bookings for the holiday lets and teaches at the local primary school. Nick (Kate’s brother) is a professional sailor who has won 2 Silver Olympic medals for Great Britain, and now races yachts. Their boys are also mad keen on sailing so there must be something in the water here..

Louise runs the horses and livery yard, as well as the website and office admin. She too lives amongst us and has done since 2005.

Kate and Nick’s parents must be included here, because without their support we wouldn’t have been able to build what we have. Not only looking after the children when they were little, but most of the fixtures and fittings within the barns have actually been created by Jonathan and Ann.
